Welcome to summer!  I hope you all are able to enjoy time with family, time for rest, time for travel, projects, and perhaps all those things.   

Your CADAT committees and board of directors are off to a great start as they set their goals for the year and begin to move forward with fresh ideas and additional member benefits.

The Public Relations committee is on the move putting together our newest edition newsletter that will be full of important information, details of interest, tips and tricks and other valuable news. 

The Professional Development and Education committee is also hard at work developing courses and methodologies that will be available through live online zoom meetings as well as future home studies and videos.

The Government Relations committee continues to be busy with current and upcoming legislation and issues that will directly have impact on the profession.  SB 1311, AB 1760 and SB 1445 are bills that currently have our immediate attention.  The Alliance also continues to be very active as CADAT, CDAA and CEFA meet regularly to represent the profession

The next Dental Assisting Council and Dental Board meeting is scheduled for August 12-13, 2026, in Sacramento, so mark your calendars now.  Your attendance and participation is important, makes a difference and is noticed.   Whether you can make it in person or virtually, you are valued and appreciated.

The Conference committee is wrapping up details from our amazing April conference and has already begun the planning for our April 16-17,2027 conference.

Your CADAT board of directors is continuing to move forward to bring additional member benefits to you.  Your membership is valued and thank you for your continued support.

We welcome your participation, gifts and talents in helping our association grow.  From membership to volunteering, you are valued.  Please encourage your colleagues to join CADAT.
